things we do for our kids...

Friday is almost here! hope everyone is having a good week if not hopefully u have a better weekend. well I'm having a pretty good week. A lot of screaming(Lani), hair pulling(makaylah), and just throwing fits (Lani and makaylah). Right now it seems like leilani is the one throwing more fits then Makaylah but when its both of them it gets very difficult to calm them down. Makaylah gets mad cause I'm trying to make Lani stop crying then Lani gets mad because I'm trying to calm monkey down and I'm not paying attention to her. So i distract them by doing something funny to get both of there attention...
Every morning now when leilani gets up from bed she stands in her door way and yells out "HELLO!" "HELLO!""HELLO!" if i don't respond with a hello she will keep doing it till i say hello back, then she goes to my bed with a diaper in her hand and tells me in her baby language to change her then climbs right under my covers and goes back to bed. Its so funny i just wish instead of bring me a diaper to change her she would just tell me she needs to go so i can take her to the bathroom. she was doing great about using the potty but just one day she got so scared when she got on the toilet for no reason at all. From that day on she will not use it anymore. Someone told me to take her into the bathroom when i need to use it so she can see what I'm doing then that way she will want to copy me but all she wants to do is flush when ever I'm done lol. she even says "Flush?" Hopefully she will want me to take her in the bathroom again so she can use the toilet.
Well speaking of Leilani, yesterday we ended up having to go to Petco to buy dog food (we have a pit bull his name is Homer and a dachshund his name is Moe) and a new toy for lulu (our kitty). well anyways whenever we go out Lani likes to take either her plastic colorful cups, her toy piano, or another toy that I'm not sure whats it called but pretty much has a bunch of numbs and colorful beads on it, so Lani decided she wanted to take her cups and these are those plastic cups you use for party's or an event like that, we get there and start looking at all the birds, mouses, hamsters, and lizards and she ended up setting her cups down somewhere i didn't even see where she put them we where in line to pay and she saw a pen with feathers on it so she wanted all the ones in the box so i just gave her one and put the rest back well she through a fit because i didn't get all of them. Another reason why she wasn't even thinking about her cups so we had no idea she didn't have them till we had gotten home. she kept looking and looking in the car for them and they just weren't there so she was very upset. it was already time for bed so i got the girls ready for bed and Lani was still crying and screaming for her cups so i told Jon that i was going to go to the store and see if i can find any will it was almost 9pm so i went to Albertson but all they had were the red and blue cups that wasn't going to cut it so i drove to the dollar tree store and they had them i bought four different colors cause they didn't just have a pack with different colors, i had barely made it before they closed so i hurried back home and was already sleeping she had cried herself to sleep :( well this morning i made sure i had put the plastic cups somewhere were she would see them and sure enough instead of a "HELLO!" "HELLO!" i got i very loud giggle, laugh, scream. I knew she had found them. she ran to my room and just laid right next to me.:) Ill do anything for them even if its just some cheap plastic colorful cups.....
