finally writing about march

i know its the middle of April but i finally get a chance to write about another one of my favorite months. Why? do u ask well let me tell you...its leilani's birthday month! she turned 3 on march 11th my baby girl is getting so so big.

Leilani Ayanna Ruiz....yes i was very tired and sleepy....

well for her 3rd birthday we took the girls to disneyland for the day...

then on Sunday March 11th we had a birthday party at our place with family and friends

feb. the month of love..

February has been a pretty good month to us. we found out makaylah doesn't need any eye surgery anytime soon. So i was very excited about that! like i was saying February was a month full of love..

When my girls get along its a wonderful thing to see...

my mom also came over to spend sometime with us instead of being at work..we were all so very happy.

Leilani is very close to my mom its so cute. she talks to her on the phone even if my mom cant understand what she is saying they can spend hours on the phone.

Makaylahs school had a friendship party and i got a chance to make little goody bags for all 40 kids. everyone ended up loving the bags even Makaylah's teachers sent me a note telling me thank you for everything.

February was a great month for us and hopefully it was for you!

December memories....

we had so many great memories in December. This was the first time we as a family put up Christmas lights outside our home and the girls loved it! lani kept saying.."mom mom look it look it woooow!" and makaylah kept saying..."WOW!" they were so happy to see all the light and the reindeer in our front yard. They were also very happy and excited that they got to see their uncle Alex and his family. My brother got them a baby doll for makaylah and an hot wheels track for leilani for Christmas.

  My girls are getting so big! leilani is 2 going on 30 :) she thinks she can do everything by herself miss independent started to use the potty finally! she is not scared anymore but i have to keep reminding her if not she will go in her pull ups. 
Makaylah is 4 now and is out growing her leg braces.  Her physical therapist wants her to wear them on and off so maybe soon she will no longer need them. i'm happy about that but i notice she is very clumsy when she doesn't have them on. SO hopefully in time she will get better at not falling down.

On Christmas eve we took the girls to toys R Us to see if anything caught there eyes so we can get it for them for Christmas and when we were all done lani wanted to go for a ride with tigger but after it started moving she got scared and wanted daddy to hold her hand. i love that picture of them because they have the same look! 
hope everyone had a great holiday season because i know i did. 

Happy New Years! lani almost made it till midnight but she ended up falling asleep and makaylah went to bed at the time she always does by 7:30pm. we had our own little party at home. I hope this year is better for my family. yay for 2012!
