Last night was one of those very very long nights. It always makes me think of the nights I would spent awake at the hospital, watching over Makaylah. those hospital chairs are so uncomfortable and there was always never something good to watch on t.v. Last night Makaylah ended up having a low fever and a runny noise, So she couldn't really breath out of her nose, she was having a hard time falling asleep. I tried my best to clear her nose out but she really hates that so its so hard to do it to her. one day i got curious and used the suction bulb on myself to see what she felt and let me tell you it feels so weird! So I can totally tell why she doesn't like it. When she finally fell asleep I kept hearing her move around alot in her crib(yes she still sleeps in a crib because we feel its safer for her since she has seizures plus she loves her bed) each time i would hear her i would get up to check on her. I don't even remember how many times i got up all i know is I'm very tired. 4am rolled around and i was up couldn't fall asleep i was just laying in bed i finally got up out of bed at 6:30am and makaylah had a fever again. I know every single mom and dad out there if they could would change places with there child when ever they are sick or hurt cause i know i would! i hate seeing my girls sick it kills me inside so much.
Its about noon and she hasn't had a fever since this morning and I'm so happy to say she didn't have a seizure before she ended up getting sick so I'm assuming her meds are working to control that and I'm hoping she still doesn't have any. Lani can tell makaylah is not feeling good because she keeps asking her big sis..."you OK" "you OK" i love my girls! they are down for a nap so its time for me to get some rest i think I'm going to climb in Lani's bed and sleep in there room.
